Today while I was baby-sitting Frog I was waffin at him because he was in a box and I wasn't. Den do you know what he said to me???? He said "I might be in a box, chubby, but at least I've driven a car!!"

WHAT???

Froggie drove mommie's car???? Dis is not fair at all!!!! I demand justice!!

Frog said dat when he was coming home from da vet he managed to worm his widdle butt up onto mommie's wap and he put his widdle foot on dat steering wheel fingie!! I've been wanting to touch dat fing for a wong time!! Frog said dat if I were a baby dat mommie would wet me do dat too. It's too wate for me to be a baby again!! I demand my rights!!! I wanna dribe wiff my foot on dat steering wheel fingie too!!

I asked mommie about dis grave unjustice and she gabe me some chicken as a treat and she said, "wook Baywee, do you see dat widdle frog getting any ob dis yummy chicken?" I didn't see dat baby getting any, but how do I know dat he wouldn't get some wader!!

Frog learned how to go up and down da stairs today. Mommie wasn't weally happy about dat cause he's so widdle and she doesn't want any frogs in da garage or anyfing. Now she has to keep a weally close eye on him to make sure dat he doesn't follow me out ob da doggie door.

Froggie also didn't habe any accidents on da today. Mommie was very excited to see dat. I fought dat was a weally weird fing to be excited about, but den, Mommie is weird.

Mommie broke a rule!!!!

She wet dis widdle frog sweep wif her wast night!!!! It was a very good fing dat he was a good boy!! He woke up at about 4:30 to go potty. Da nice part was dat it meant dat eberybody got to sweep wast night. I was happy about dat!!

You can tell he's a boy!! Wook! He already has da remote control! He was one tire widdle boy last night. Mommy said dat he tired himself out screaming his fool head off. I'm just glad he's sweeping!!

Dis widdle puppy should be called crybaby!!! Dat is all he did all night wong!! I don't know how sucha widdle fing can make such big noises!!! He cwied and cwied and cwied all night long. I just wanted to put my head under da pillow. Not only dat, but do you know what else???? Dis widdle fing pees eberywhere!! Mommie is mostly keeping him on a blanket or on da tile floors. When mommie tells him no I eben drop down wike it was my bad, but I didn't do nuffin wrong!! I neber pee or do anyfing wike dat in da house!! Dis widdle puppy

I fink dat I tired him out!! Dis is what he's been doing for the past hour! I still don't know if I get to keep him or not. Dis is what mommie decided. She called da owners and asked if dis puppy could spend da night wiff us. Den she wants to call my doctor in da morning and get him in to be seen. If my doctor (who knows just about eberyfing and wubs to pway wiff me) finks dat dis dog is okay health wise both physical and mental den we keep him. If he finds a problem den we will probably take him back tomorrow.

I've had a weally good time pwaying wif him today!! It was almost wike habing Arizona in da house again!! He has been sleeping by mommie's feet when she's at da computer. Where is my puppy???

I can't eben believe dis!! My mommie was supposed to bring home da phone number for da people dat hab dis new puppy ob mine, but she forgot it at work. Dis meant dat she couldn't call dem to make arrangements to pick up da puppy for dis weekend. Dis is why I haben't posted on my blog all day. Mommie had some info, and what she ended up doing was pouring through da phone book and calling people until she called da right number!! It was already going into ebening, so we are going to pway wiff dis baby tomorrow. Mommie promised to go get him early in da morning, so we should hab some information about him and pictures too!! One of mommie's fwiends (and my fwiend too) has two widdle yorkies and she told mommie dat she finks dat I might just snuggle up and tweet dis widdle guy as my own baby. I was wooking at my comments screen and saw dat my fwiends, da mutley crew, asked for my autograph!! I fought dat dis was weally cool, so I got my paint set out so dat I could make one. Well, I managed to get paint on da carpets and walls in about free rooms I fink... Maybe more cause I wost count. I was being an artist!! I can't be held accountable for fings dat are not under my control while I'm creating!!! Dis is just wrong!! Mommie said dat I hab a big head cause I told her dat I am a star!! I wooked in da mirror, but my head wooks da same as it always does!! I don't get mommie sometimes!!

What's up wiff dose Broncos??

Dey wost!!! I did not fink dat it was eben possible!! Dey hab Champ Baywee and he came from the Georgia Bulldogs!! How in da world did dis terrible fing happen??? Dey weren't supposed to woose!! Ob all days too!! I fought dat dey would win dis game in Ari's memory. Today, Jan 22nd is one month since I wost my bestest fwiend. How could da broncos mess dis whole fing up!! It snowed off and on all day yesterday and a wot ob da night wast night!! We haben't had snow in a wong time!! It's Wednesday!!!

Dat means dat dere are only two days after dis and it'll finally be SATURDAY!! I can't wait!! It means dat it will be me and mommie's first weekend all awone since Jay came home and Awi died. We still miss Awi a wot, but I fink dat I'm starting to get ober it better den mommie. I'm not spending as much time wooking all ober da house for her, but mommie does still cry and dat makes me sad.

We got gyped on our snow dis week. We were expecting wots ob snow, and we just got a widdle dusting!! Today report says dat we're going to get a wot ob wind. I'd rather hab snow!!

Oh, here is some big news - some fwiends ob ours got a new widdle puppy!!! She's a widdle black cocker spaniel. Mommie saw pictures ob her yesterday and mommie said dat she is just beautiful!! Our friend Maggie has been pondering being a four legger mommie for a wong time! We're so glad dat she took da plunge and got dis sweet widdle girl!! I wanna see dat puppy, but mommie said dat I'd probably scare him wiff my biggness and all dat. I'm not very good at being calm, or at weast dat's what mommie says. Here's da fing - I had company all weekend and it was weally fun. Now it's Monday and mommie has to get up and go to work so now I don't hab anyone to pway wiff all day wong. We swept good wast night!!

While mommie watched da Broncos game (I didn't watch, we were too busy!) Me an Piper pwayed and pwayed and during commericals mommie would waff and waff at us. Piper tired me wight out!! When it was time to go to bed I climbed right under da covers and went to sweep. Sweeping is serious business if you're a bulldog!! Piper wasn't sure what to do at first. So he just stood ober me. I had to gibe him a couple ob rules. First off, no sleeping on Arizona's pillow (well, I know dat mommie bought a new pillow, but if dat pillow is in Arizona's spot den it's Arizona's pillow) Den no sweeping on top ob mommie or on mommie's pillow. Dese seemed to be fair rules to me and Piper didn't seem to mind. In da end he burrowed down under da cobers and we couldn't eben see him!! I can't eben sweep all da way down under da cobers wike dat! I hab to hab my head out! We swept in until 7:00 dis morning. Boff ob us swept weally hard too!! Today is going to be a fun day!! My fwiend, Piper is coming to spend dis weekend wiff me. Piper is a pug and his mommie works where my mommie works. We're wooking!!!

Dat is what mommie has been smiling about!! She's wooking to find me a new buddy!! Dis is da fing dough, we're not wooking at puppies. Mommie says dat dey are weally cute, but she doesn't fink dat we hab what it takes to waise a puppy wight now. Puppies are a wot ob fun, but dey also need a wot ob attention and mommie's not home all day to gibe dat kind ob attention and she doesn't fink dat it would be fair to any widdle baby. So, mommie has been talking to some wonderful rescue people!! Mommie says dat rescue is da best way to say "I wub you" so dat is what we want to do. Besides, dat's how I came to mommie's house and just wook at how I turned out!!! (Ask Santa!! He will tell you dat I hab been very good and I don't eben hab to be good right now!!!)

Mommie told me not to get too anxious. Dis kind ob fing doesn't always go fast. It could take weeks or months or eben a year or more. When it's time the right dog will drop right in our lap!! Until den, mommie and I can use dis time to spoil me. Waff

Mommie has dis habit, she wikes to name after locations. Wike, Arizona was very obvious, cause, well, it's a state. Mommie picked my name but it's not so obvious what da location is. Here is how it works. Buttercup Baywee Irish Cream. Mommie picked da buttercup name because she said dat it is dainty and delicate just wike me (waff) and Baywee is from dis beautiful Colorado mountain town, Baywee Colorado, and da irish cream was thrown in because she said dat my brindle color wooked wike nice hot coffee wiff baywee irish cream being poured through and stired gently. So dat's how I got my name. Good fing dat Awi was already named "porkchops & applesause" huh? I fink dat fit her better den me!!

I swept most ob da night in bed wiff mommie!! I eben put my head on da pillow where Awi is supposed to be and didn't cwy or hab to go try to find her again. Dat bad keekat ob mine spent da night wiff us too. He swept where Awi used to sweep and I swept right next to mommie. Mommie was happy to fall asleep to snores again!! She's one weird mommie!!

My house is back to normal for right now. Dis house guest dat we hab is off visiting her sister for da week. It's nice to hab our house back.

Dis is one fing dat I don't get dough. How come mommie wooks at me and says RIBBIT wike she's a widdle frog or somefin??? Eberytime I ask her she just smiles and den she ribbit's again. Dis is a mystery to me! Are we getting a frog?? Dat keekat ob mine ate a bunny, I ate duck, so is mommie eating a frog? She told me dat she ate a snail before when she was in Paris. She also ate some chocolate covered bugs (ants or grasshoppers or somefing wike dat. Dey came in a can, not eben from da ground!!) I didn't eben know dat she ate grasshoppers! I'm going to catch some for her dis summer and she can eat dem wiff me. What is up wiff her?

Dis is one fing I don't get.

Da Easter Bunny

Want to know what da Easter Bunny does when she's not working??? I fink dat she has a wist wike Santa Clause because she was out sitting beside da road wooking at eberyone dat passed by. I don't fink dat she wanted to make it obvious or anyfing, but wook close and you can see dat she's finking "yes, dat bully is on da good wist" (I fink dat she's talking about me here!!!)
or it wooks wike da off duty Easter bunny is finking "Dat bad keekat ate my cousin, dat keekat's on da bad wist.

I just fought dat it was important dat eberybody sees dat da Easter Bunny doesn't watch TB all day wong while she's waiting for Easter to get here. Dis is kind ob wike finking about teachers. You don't eben fink dat dey are real people until you run into one at a grocery store or church. Den you fink to yourself, wow - I fought dat dey stayed at school forever!! I didn't know dat dey could eben breath air outside ob dere environment!!

Are you weaddy for some football??

Da bronco's didn't pway today, so I had to amuse my ownself. I got out my football and pwayed most ob da morning. Mommie said dat I sound wike a mean dog when I pway, but dat's my whole twick. If you wanna be a football pwayer den you hab to sound tough!!


After we pwayed football, den we went for a trip to Petsmart. I got my nails trimmed and got to say hi to all ob my fwiends. I fink dat I know ebery person at dat store by name, and dey all know me too!! Most ob dem say "Hi Baywee, come gibe me a kiss" so den I gibe dem big wet kisses and dey gibe me tweets!!

We haven't been dere since Arizona passed away, so mommie told dem dat I wost my sister. Dey all were very kind to me and scritched my ear and said dat dey were sorry. I weally wub my friends at petsmart!!

Mommie bought me four new toys. I don't get dis dough. She only gabe me one. If you buy four, den how about gibing four? What is da point ob not gibing dem? She says dat she will gibe dem later, but we all know dat she can't resist my cute widdle face or wiggly butt, and she'll buy more anyway!!

I also got three new kinds ob treats to try. Mommie says dat I am one spoiled bully, but I fink dat I'm just right!!

Today was colder den yesterday was so we didn't eben get to open up da windows in da house or anyfing. I will be glad when spring gets here!! I miss sitting on my deck. Dere is nuffin better in dis life den taking a nice wong summertime nap on da deck.

My keecat has been hiding out all day. I hope dat he hasn't gotten himself in to trouble!! I don't get dis eber. I am not allowed to cross da street wiff out holding someone's hand, but dis bad keekat ob mine runs up and down da street all da time. How come keekats don't hab to follow dis holding hands across da road rule??? I fink dat somefing's wrong here!! I want to try it, but I got yelled at da wast time I tried to cross da road to see my very favorite neighbors. I can only go when mommie wets me. Cat's sometimes hab da wife!!!

Did you eber eat a duck?

Today mommie served me somefin dat was wonderful!! I ate dis whole bowl ob stuff and didn't eben bother asking what was I eating. Den when I was done mommie told me dat I just ate a duck. I neber ate a duck before. I was a widdle concerned dat it might hab been a famous duck like Donald Duck or Daffy duck but mommie told me not to worry. She said dat she da only way dat she'd serve a famous duck would be on da table, served wiff rice and napkins and stuff wike dat.

Mommie put a towel down on da floor. She said dat it was because I am a messy eater, but I'm finking dat it was cause it was a duck and what if he tried to fwy away or somefin?? Den I would hab to send dat bad keekat ob mine out to get him and bring him back!!









I fink dat you can tell dat eben dough I wasn't sure about eating duck I weally did enjoy it a wot.








Today was a beautiful day in Colorado. Mommie opened up dat window by my lubseat and I enjoyed my day dere and also by sitting on da deck. Now mommie is going to watch football. I fink dat she means dat she's going to watch football on TB. She's been watching me pway wiff my football for most ob da day! One ob dese days (maybe when I'm five) I'm going to pway on da Bronco's team!!

Mommie told me to be weady cause change will be coming to our house sometime. Is dis change soon, or will it take a wong time? I don't know and neber does mommie. She just knows dat somefin is changing. I hab to wait and see.
