I adopted a baby

Dis is my widdle baby. I got dis widdle blue bulldog from Santa Claus for Christmas. I haben't figured out a name yet, but I wub dis widdle guy!! Sweep wiff him ebery night and he stays on da lubseat wiff me during da daytime. Mommie is just amazed because I usually tear my toys up pretty quickly (she says dat she finks I might be a widdle rough wiff dem) but dis widdle toy I keep close to me. I wick his cute widdle bulldog face and wet him snuggle in wiff me. Mommie finks dat I am showing dis widdle guy so much attention beause he is so beautiful and beautiful reminds me ob da very beautiful Awi.

Dis widdle guy eben talks to me if I press down on his belly. I don't generallly do it because I don't want to hurt him, but mommie sometimes sits wiff me on da wubseat and she makes him talk and while he's talking I wick his widdle face.

I hope dat everyone gets to hab a fwiend wike dis at weast once in dere life. I wike dis widdle guy! I wish he could walk dough so dat he could follow me outside or somefin wike dat!!

Dis is another sad day...

My two wegger brudder is weaving dis morning. He has to get back to Omaha now dat Christmas is ober. I'm going to miss him a wot!!

I fought dat I'll tell a funny story about Awi dis morning. Awi always makes me smile.

Awi would always be where mommmie was. Mommie was Awi's seat if mommie sat down. Da only time dat Awi didn't sit in mommie's wap was if mommie was at da computer. Den Awi had a den under da desk and only she was allowed dere. It was her top secret hiding pwace only accessed by using her top secret decoder ring. I fink dat she used to pass notes up to mommie while she was under dere. I could neber read dem because Awi used invisible ink. Anyway, dis funny story isn't about Awi's decoder ring or her invisible ink. It's about her hiding space. Dis is what would happen. I would come into da office wiff a toy beause I wanted to pway. I'd get ober by mommie's desk so dat I could ask her if she wanted to pway wiff me, but before I could eben ask Awi would dash out ob her hiding space and grab da toy wight out ob my mouff!! Den I'd say to mommie "WOOK!! DID YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENED??? My toy!!! Awi has my toy!!!"

Mommie would wisten to me, den she would wook under da desk and she'd see dis cute widdle puggie (don't belive anyone, wooks do get you eberywhere!!!) and she'd waff and scruff at Awi's ears. Den she'd say "Baywee, wet Awi hab dis toy, she'll gibe it back, don't worry. Go get another toy."

So, den I'd wun as fast as my widdle bully butt would wet me run and I'd grab another toy out ob my toybox and wun, wun, wun wiff dat cute widdle bully wiggle (see, I told you dat wooks get you eberywhere) and bring another toy to mommie. Before I could eben get dat toy into mommie's hands IT HAPPENED AGAIN!! Sometimes Awi was so fast it was just a flash ob puggie lightening!! Den I'd run and grab another and another. Mommie would wook under Awi's desk and waff and waff cause dere was dis widdle puggie carefully guarding her big stash ob toys. Dis was one ob Awi's most favorite games. I guess dat she fought dat I was bringing all dose toys to her. Sometimes all our toybox ended up under da desk and Awi would be carefully guarding it against thiefs. Dis was one good, safe puggie!! I miss pwaying dese Awi games. I neber could figure out how she could dash out from under da desk, snag my toy right from my mouth and dash back to her home base before I could eben do a fing.

Well, dis is my widdle story for today. I fink dat I'm going to wewax in front ob da tb today while mommie's at work. Don't tell her dough cause it just annoys her when she knows dat I spend my day in front ob da tb while she's working to earn my kibble. Dis will just be our widdle secret!!

Dis is da fing here. Yesterday mommie made some chili and den Jay and his fwiends came for dinner. Dat was fun, weally fun, but den dis is what happened. Dey didn't leabe at bedtime!! Dey stayed and stayed and mommie wet me stay up all night wong wiff dem. I had so much fun! I neber stayed up all night before. I don't fink dat we went to bed until 4:00am dis morning. Den at 6:30 mommie is up and showered and she comes walking frew da libingroom and wants to pet me. I AM SWEEPING, MOMMIE!!! I didn't eben pick up my head. I don't care about a tweet dis morning or going into da backyard!! Den she weally did it. She grabbed her camera. Now usually I wub getting my picture taken, but I AM SWEEPING, MOMMIE!! Jay gabe me a new toy!!!

It was dis big donkey - I fink dat his name is eeyore. He's almost as big as me!! Yesterday Jay helped mommie cwean out some closets and while they did dat I sweept wiff my new toy. Mommie promised to take some new pictures ob me, but first she has to charge up da batteries for dis camera ob hers. Jay also pwayed football wiff me. I don't always wike da way he pways dough. He wikes to frow da ball off ob da deck and into da backyard. Dis is da fing; He KNOWS dat I don't wike habing my toys in da backyard. First I risk dat backyard squirrel stealing dem, den I also hab dis widdle problem. When a toy is out on dat grass stuff I can't pick it up!!! I don't wike how it feels on my flews. Jay always waffs at me because I will hover ober my toys, but I can't touch dem. So den he comes down and takes dem right from me. Dis is not a fair tactic!! How would he wike to pick up his toys off ob da grass using his mouth???

We got a Christmas miracle after all....

It just wasn't what we expected. What happened was dat as we were at da doctor's office and we were woosing our beatiful widdle Arizona, some ob our friends were also at da doctor's office and they were giving birth to new puppies!! One ob dese pups was dubbed "Arizona." Dis is da amazing fing. Eben dough her widdle face is a bully face, da coloring on her back is just da same kind ob fawn coloring dat Ari was. Dis widdle sweeting pie eben has dat dark stripe down her back. We hope dat we will get to follow dis beautiful bully for her life and hope dat da new owners fall in lub wif her name so dat it neber changes.

My sister, Arizona

Her name is Arizona's Porkchops and Applesauce, but no one eber tried to take a bite out of her!! Arizona belonged to mommie, but she also belonged to my two legger brother and sister and to me too!! When she came home she was only 8 weeks old and she was da fattest, cutest widdle pug you eber saw in your life!! My two legger brother wanted to name her "Bacon" because she wooked just wike a cute widdle piggie wiff dat widdle flat nose and curled up tail. Mommie wanted to name her after a state or a city. Dey ran frough so many pwaces. Widdle Arizona was almost named Louisiana (can you just hear mommie yelling dat name out??? waff.) Utah was also a choice before dey decided on da beautiful name ob Arizona. Jen fought dat dey could nickname her 'Zona, but instead da nickname "Awi" stuck.

Awi was born on April 18th 1996 . She was a very busy pug always going to baseball or football games or hanging out with Jen and her friends. In spite of the fact dat she was going blind she mangaged to keep up with her kids very good!! Den on July 5th 2002 we became sisters. I know dat Awi wubbed me just as much as I wubbed her. I helped her get into trouble on wots ob
occasions!! Awi, remember when I got up on da kitchen counter and knocked dat whole chocolate kake on to da floor so dat we could eat it??? I always made sure I shared food and toys wiff my very favorite sister in dis whole world!! I wubbed Ari so much!!





All good things must come to an end and the best ob da best are called home to stay. Dis is da case wiff my beautiful sister, Awizona. Today, December 22nd 2005, she sat on mommie's wap and mommie held her tight and told her how loved she was, how much she would be missed and what a hole she would leave in our hearts. Den Awi was allowed to close does blind widdle eyes for da very wast time here on earth and drift off to sleep. We know for sure dat as soon as she weft dis earth dat she opened dose beautiful widdle puggie eyes to the brillance ob heaven. Our widdle pug who was sick and wracked wiff pain woke up as a beautiful puggie puppy just the way she was meant to be. Mommie said dat one day we will see Awi again and our old girl will remember us wiff wots ob wub because she wubbed us just as much as we wub her.


Until then, our hearts are heavy and filled with pain. We ache to hold our beautiful girl and we want everyone to know how much dis one widdle pug meant to us. If only ebery family could be as blessed as we have been dese past (almost) 10 years.

Dis is my worry...

My bestest fwiend in da whole wide world (or eben bigger dan dat!!) Awizona hasn't been feeling very good dis past few days. She's not herself at all. She scratched up mommie's hand weally bad because mommie was trying to restrain her cause she was coming after me. I didn't eben take one ob her toys or anyfing, but she's mad at me anyway. Mommie's been feeling sad and crying about dis whole fing. She called me and Awi's doctor and is waiting for a call back. Mommie finks dat it might be almost Awi's "time" whateber dat means. I fought about asking, but dis whole fing just brings weally big tears to mommie's eyes, so I don't want to hurt her more by asking dese kinds ob questions. I'm not sure what will happen, but mommie says dat whateber does happen Awi will be in dis fing called "a better pwace." but it doesn't sound wike dat pwace is going to be wiff us for a whole wot wonger.

I'm very confused about dis whole fing, so I'm trying to be as nice as I can to Awi because I wub her a wot!!

How come days don't wast wonger?

I had such a good birfday!! I fink dat I should hab a birfday ebery day!! Mommie just rolls her eyes dough. She says "Baywee, ebery day is already Baywee day, isn't dat good enough???" She does hab a widdle point dough. I do wike making sure dat she knows how important I am in our house.

Anyway, I fought I'd show some pictures ob my day. First we went to Petsmart and I got my nails clipped and got to see my widdle petsmart worker fwiends (I know a wot ob people dere!) Den I got to see SANTA CLAUS! He was at da store! I couldn't believe it! I rushed him! I wanted him to know what a good girl I was. Da wady took some pictures and mommie took some pictures too. We had a fun time! I didn't get a candy cane or a coloring book dough. We did end up wiff photos and a nice new frame so dat was okay. I wike candy canes dough.



I got two new toys and Awi got one new toy for my birfday. We also got some new chew fingies dat we lub (its a knee bone or somefin wike dat.)


Den me and mommie got back in da car. Mommie took some pictures ob me while she was dribing.

Now, don't you fink dat mommie should have had her eye on da road??? Dis is what I wonder, eben dough I wub habing my picture taken!!

I wanted to start my birfday party dis morning at 2am, but dat made mommie kind ob crabby.

We're going to petsmart today, den we're going though the drive through at McDonalds. I don't weally fink dat it's fair dat ober people's kids get to pway inside at McDonalds, but I'm not allowed in. Dis seems wike an outrage to me. I fink dat mommie is going to talk to dem today and tell dem dat it's not fair. Why should only two wegger kids be allowed in. Dat's not fair! In Germany all kids two or four weggers can go into restaurants or stores. Mommie has libed dere before so she knows dat for a fact!

Wast night me an Awi had an argument. Dis is why. Awi's widdle house is under mommie's desk. Well, yesterday before mommie got home dat bad keekat ob mine was on top of momie's desk. He was busy pwaying soccer wiff some post-it notes. Well, he knocked da notes onto da floor and wike a flash Ari got dem. She chewed and chewed and chewed on dat stack ob paper. I wanted to help chew too, but Awi wouldn't share at all!! She told me dat da wubseat is my house and if Toby drops anyfing around my house den I can get it. Well, dis isn't fair at all!! Dere is nuffin at all ober dat lubseat dat Toby can make fall down on my lubseat. I fink dat Awi needs to wern to share better dan dis. I want stuff from mommie's desk too!!

I fink dat Awi better remember dat Santa's coming soon and she should be a sharing girl in dis time ob year. After all, if Toby hadn't shared wiff her, den she wouldn't hab anyfing eber.

In da end mommie took da paper away from Awi and told us to quit arguing. Dis really is all Awi's fault!!

Oh, and we're supposed to get ober freezing today!! It's already 17 degrees! I can feel a heatwabe alweady!

Dear Baywee, this is off the topic, but could you pwese say a widdle pwayer for my mommy and daddy? They just picked up a foster cairn terrier doggy on Sunday and she slipped her harness when daddy was walking her yesterday. She is still running around, usually pretty close to home, but she's a puppy mill girl and she's really skittish and won't let them get close enough to catch her. She's such a sweetheart, and my mommy and daddy are so scared and they feel like they have failed this sweet girl.Angel Impy
